January Favorites

Lifestyle

All the things from January that I fell in love with.

Innersense Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner

I’m a clean, non-toxic, vegan beauty, skincare, and haircare lover, so I was excited to find Innersense products! I started to use this on hair-wash days. After I get out of the shower, I spray my wet hair with this Innersense Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner and use a wide tooth comb to brush through it. It helps so much with detangling my fine hair.

The Walking Pad

I got my boyfriend this as a gift for last Christmas but I never really used it until I was visiting this month. And, after 30 days of using it- I’m officially OBSESSED! It’s such an easy way to get steps in while you work. A quick disclaimer though- a standing desk is kind of necessary for this to work. (My boyfriend has the Uplift and he really likes it.) The whole setup is an investment but I think it’s so worth it, especially if you are at your desk at home every day. This has been a pretty easy way to get an extra 10K steps in while working. Plus, I feel like being in motion helps me to be more creative. Whenever I write, I like to be walking on it.

Cymbiotika’s NMN Supplement

NMN, Nicotinamide Mononucleotide, is something I tried from Cymbiotika last month and fell in love with. It’s said to neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals, maintain healthy DNA, reduce oxidative stress, and slow premature aging. I’ve noticed it has helped with energy and focus during the workday and that’s really why I love it so much. It’s my new favorite supplement.

Hatch Restore 2

I bought the Hatch for my boyfriend for Christmas and we are addicted. He loves white noise when he sleeps and was using Amazon Alexa which I, to be completely honest, hated. I didn’t like the blue light that illuminates when she’s doing something, I didn’t love the robot voice, and I hated the way fan sounds sounded. This Hatch is such a beautiful upgrade. You can select different light colors, sounds, and methods of waking up. And, I love the white noise sound options. I like to sleep with it at volume 10, so the white noise is soft and muffles out outside noise, but the room still feels quiet. I also love the soft amber light for winding down at night and the overall look and feel of the Hatch

Osea Body Balm

I’ve been at my boyfriend’s in Virginia for January and the air has been DRY. Not to mention, it’s been really cold. My skin is dry so it has been officially freaking out this month. I’m loving using the Osea Body Balm on it to moisturize and soothe. It’s perfect for preventing that itchy skin feeling. If you’re thinking of trying it, you can use code LAURENV for a discount at Osea.com! <3

Hope you enjoyed these January favorites. I want to start doing these roundups monthly – it’s such a fun way to share recent obsessions!

Lauren
