You know when you find something that you love so much you have to tell your friends about it? That pretty much sums up how I feel about Thrive Market.
What is Thrive Market?
I started using Thrive about a year and a half ago and fell in love with how easy and efficient the whole process is. I also fell in love with the products and prices that they offered too. A ton of my favorite brands were on the site- all at very discounted prices.
So how does it work?
Just like Amazon or any other membership site, you pay a monthly (or annual) fee to be a member. Thrive Market then works directly with brands, cutting out any middlemen to pass on the savings to you. So- you’ll probably notice that some of your favorites are considerably cheaper on Thrive. That’s because of this system they have in place.
Is it worth it?
I’m pretty budget-conscious about the memberships I have but Thrive really is worth it to me. On my last bill, I saved $60 on my $104 order. It’s also the efficiency of being able to order online and get things delivered to my door combined with the brands that Thrive offers which makes the membership a no-brainer.
And, for shipping, any order over $49 ships free. I usually wait until I have a bigger order to place my grocery orders. They ship with recyclable material and also ship really fast- so it’s all a very low-stress, easy process.

Artisana Hazelnut Cacao Spread
So I got this for my mom because she has this one brand of chocolate peanut butter she loves, but when I took a look at the ingredients, it was filled with a lot of refined sugars and palm oil. So, I started searching for a healthier alternative and OMG this is the stuff right here!
It tastes like a beautiful delicious chocolate dream and is one of the best nut butters I’ve ever had. My mom loves it too. And yes, it tastes like freaking Nutella, without the dairy and without the junk. This is sweetened with coconut sugar.
Joolies Date Syrup
THIS was my obsession of 2020! I’ve talked about quitting refined sugar previously (you can check that video out here), and finding whole food alternatives was key for me when quitting refined sugar. Date syrup is a beautiful option to sub in (and works so well in recipes!). It’s just pure organic dates. I love it on overnight oats, smoothie bowls, sweet potatoes, seriously- it works in so many ways. It’s the main thing I use to sweeten my favorite chocolate chip cookies of all time .

Artisana Raw Cashew Butter
Who doesn’t love a good nut butter? I mean, whether it’s drizzled on a smoothie bowl, spread on a piece of gluten-free toast, or stuffed in a date- nut butter is freaking amazing. I’m always on the hunt for clean, delicious new finds and Artisana is a great brand for clean nut butters. Whenever you’re shopping for nut butters, you always want to check the ingredients because sometimes they put some funky things in them.
This is raw cashew butter which I wanted to experiment with making naturally-sweetened GF V Blondies. (I’ll report back on how it goes.)
Tessemea’s Organic Ketchup
I’ve been swapping out my ketchup for naturally-sweetened versions for some time now. Regular ketchup is usually (weirdly) loaded with a lot of sugar. And not great quality sugar either. Some of the better-known brands have high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup which are artificial refined sugars that have been identified by many experts as being a key factor in the obesity epidemic. But to dial it back, I’m always looking for brands that are creating organic, naturally-sweetened ketchup. I haven’t tried this brand, but the reviews are great online. Also- it is sweetened with dates! How cool is that?!
Navitas Cacao & Reishi Blend
So this is the find that I am super stoked about. It’s from Navitas Organics, who is getting into the mushroom game. I’m obsessed with mushrooms (you can check out the post on Lion’s Mane here) and the power they hold. This product combines the balancing powers of reishi mushroom, which can help with our energy, stress response, and immune system, along with the healing powers of cacao into one awesome superfood powder. (I did a full breakdown of how incredible cacao is for our bodies here.) I will report back on this because I’m planning on making an epic chocolate mushroom ice cream with it.
Organic Traditions Cacao Butter
This is the cacao butter I use when making my own naturally sweetened vegan dark chocolate. It is gold. Most store-bought vegan dark chocolate, even if it is high quality, is going to contain some sort of refined sugar. I wanted something different and date-sweetened, so I started making my own. (You can watch the video on it here.) I use cacao butter to do it, which are the oils extracted from the cacao bean. Then, you melt them down and add cacao powder and date syrup. I have a blog post breaking this entire process down here.
Himalayan Salt
This is the salt I use for cooking and baking. I love Himalayan salt because it is packed with minerals. It’s also minimally processed so it’s a more natural alternative to regular table salt.
Moon Juice SuperBeauty
I love Moon Juice because of their attention to the quality of ingredients in their products. They don’t add flow agents to their supplements and they don’t mess around with questionable ingredients which actually makes it pretty relieving to shop their stuff because I know I don’t have to worry about weird rando ingredients.
This SuperBeauty supplement is a combination of Glutathione, which is an antioxidant that can be found in our cells that helps to maintain cellular function and structure, Vitamin C & E (which helps to protect the cells from free radicals), Astaxanthin (an antioxidant from microalgae which can help with elasticity and fine lines in skin), Silica (a cofactor for collagen and elastin production), and Schisandra (a berry that helps with hydration and skin clarity). I’m stoked about these and I can definitely do a recap if you’re interested, just let me know below.
Nontoxic Dish Detergent
These next two things I got because i’m in the process of making over my mom’s household cleaners to get rid of harmful toxic ingredients. If something makes you cough or takes your breath away while cleaning, it probably isn’t the best thing for your endocrine system (or anything else really). Thrive has a lot of nontoxic cleaning options at great prices, so they make it pretty easy to shop for nontoxic options.
We use this dish soap and love it. It’s cruelty-free and fragrance-free. The word fragrance is used as a blanket term on labels and can hide a ton of toxic chemicals. This soap is made with eco-friendly nontoxic ingredients and ideal for anyone looking to cut out toxins.
Rebel Green Laundry Detergent
I am so obsessed with this laundry detergent, that it’s definitely become a fave. It definitely has a higher price point than some standard household name detergents, but after learning about how the toxic ingredients in regular detergent can affect our bodies, I became that much more interested in switching to nontoxic options.
When you’re shopping for laundry detergent, watch out for things like Sodium Alcohol Ethoxylate Sulfate, Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonate, and “Fragrance,” (among some other stuff). This is probably a topic for a different day, so if you’d like to see a post on that- just let me know! I’ve made over my beauty routine, my skin routine, and now I’m focused on the household products. I love this detergent and the ingredients. And, a little goes a long way.
Hopefully you found some great finds here that you want to try. If you have any questions about Thrive- they have an awesome chat feature on their site which makes things really easy. And if you’re not on Thrive, I’m linking all the products below. 🙂
