Curcumin has numerous health benefits including decreasing inflammation, reducing oxidative damage, and improving brain function.
Pumpkin Spice Turmeric Smoothie

A healthy fall-inspired smoothie packing the punch of powerful turmeric.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)
- ½ cup ice
- ¼ cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tbsp gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 tbsp almond butter (or other nut butter)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp vanilla bean powder (or vanilla extract)
- a few drops liquid stevia (to taste)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until completely combined.
Notes
You can also sweeten this smoothie with 1-2 dates or a few teaspoons of maple syrup instead of liquid stevia.
