When I need a cleanse, working fresh juice into my mornings is my go-to. When I need a super-cleanse, I’ll add parsley into the juicer. It not only provides a hit of chlorophyll, folate, iron, vitamins, antioxidants, and phytonutrients to your juice, but it also helps to banish bloat by reducing water retention. Because parsley is potent, add it in small amounts to your juice mix and refrain from drinking if you’re pregnant or on blood thinning medication. It’s strong stuff!
- 1 small bunch parsley
- 2 stalks celery, ends removed
- 1 red apple, cored and chopped
- 1 carrot, ends removed
- Add ingredients to juicer, one by one, until all items have been juiced.
- Drink immediately.
